Conceptual Gems of Theoretical Physics
This workshop introduced artists to some of the most fruitful concepts in modern theoretical physics, with an emphasis on concepts that are infrequently discussed in public discussions of physics. The goal of this workshop was to provide an intimate conceptual experience of modern physics that would enable the artists to build these ideas into original artworks. The day was structured to create an intensely collaborative and creative atmosphere.

EinsteinPlus 2011
International Workshop for High School Physics Teachers.
EinsteinPlus 2010
EinsteinPlus workshop is a oneweek, intensive residential workshop for Canadian and international high school teachers that focuses on key areas of modern physics — including quantum physics, special and general relativity, and cosmology. The workshop incorporates sessions on: Innovative teaching strategies suitable for all areas of physics Inclass learning resources on modern physics Techniques for sharing the information and materials obtained at Einstein Plus with your colleagues at home for the benefit of additional educators and their students EinsteinPlus also provides unique opportunities to learn some of the latest developments in theoretical physics from researchers at the forefront of their fields, enjoy lab tours and take part in social events with likeminded teachers from around the globe.
ISSYP 2010
The ISSYP is an exciting and challenging twoweek program for Canadian and international high school students with a keen interest in theoretical physics and who intend to pursue a degree in physics at the university level. This summer school supercharges potential "Einsteins" with: Presentations by Perimeter Institute researchers on cutting edge theoretical physics – hot topics such as superstring theory, quantum computing and dark matter. Opportunities to work with leading international theoretical physicists in small group mentoring sessions. Lab tours and other activities with likeminded students from around the globe. Insights into their own potential as possible future researchers in theoretical physics.
