Param is a Distinguished Research Fellow working on the broad interface of cosmology and quantum gravity. He obtained his PhD in high energy aspects of gravity and cosmology as a CSIR research fellow at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) in Pune in 2004. He was a postdoctoral researcher in quantum gravity and cosmology at the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos, the Pennsylvania State University.
