Ivette Fuentes-Schuller (before: Fuentes-Guridi), graduated in physics from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico carrying out research in astrophysics. She obtained a PhD in quantum physics from Imperial College. Currently she is on leave from her postdoctoral position at Perimeter Institute, to take a Glasstone Fellowship and Junior Research Fellowship (Mansfield College) at the University of Oxford. She is interested in quantum optics, quantum information theory and foundations of quantum mechanics
