ICMP09 is being planned from Dec 5 to Dec 23 2009 at the Fountain Hotel Mahabaleshwar in the Sahyadri mountains near Mumbai as a programme that will revolve around roughly a dozen broadly defined themes. The programme will start with the first 7 day section (Dec 5- Dec 12) of the Mahabaleshwar Condensed Matter School, which will feature 4 lecture courses of 5 lectures each, in addition to an evening colloquium series. This will be followed by the 3 day Mahabaleshwar Condensed Matter Conference (Dec 13 to Dec 15). The final 7 days of the programme (Dec 16 Dec 23) will be devoted to the second section of the School with 4 more lecture courses of 5 lectures each, in addition to an evening colloquium series.Advisory Committee: Ehud Altman, Arindam Ghosh, Brijesh Kumar, Roderich Moessner, Subroto Mukerjee, T.V.
