Abstract
Hybrid quantum systems based on collective states of a spin ensemble have served as exciting platforms for quantum technology ranging from quantum communication protocols to processing and storage of quantum information. In this talk, we present a theoretical approach to study the open dynamics of states of the spin ensemble-cavity system based on tensor-network methods. We show how these methods allow us to design and demonstrate high-fidelity transfer and protection of information in collective states of a hybrid quantum system.
